At my Bead Society meeting this month we celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness by donating some wonderful tea lights that we beaded covers for.
I got so exited that I made three. One to donate, one to keep and one to have a GIVEAWAY on my Facebook page. You can see Handmade Jewelry Haven's Facebook page here.
You can see the post HERE!
I also made a YouTube video showing a time lapsed video of me making it, including a link to get the FREE pattern, if you are so inclined to make one.
You can see the video here on Handmade Jewelry Haven's YouTube Channel.
If you would like a copy of the FREE pattern, just tell us where to send it!

My Mom had Cancer back in 1961 they took her breast & a muscle under her arm, but they got it all praise God, and she lived until she was 84 yrs. and passed in her sleep. Cancer runs a lot in my family. My Dad died of Lung Cancer & my Grandmother & Aunt died of Cancer of the liver. It's a nasty disease for sure. Prayers go out to all victims. Some day a miracle will be found, but for now we pray!
ReplyDeleteMy dad passed of Prostate cancer and my aunt of breast cancer.
DeleteI am very careful with getting regular screenings.

What a good idea for breast cancer awareness. I had almost forgotten October is the month for it. I have two aunts who recently got cancer diagnoses, not breast cancer by it's in other places which is still horrible. They are receiving treatment currently and I hope they can beat it. Cancer is really ugly! Thanks for visiting yesterday, my friend!
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy. I am so sorry to hear about your aunts. My aunt passed of breast cancer when I was very young.
DeleteI get my screenings regularly.
